How we run a site teardown
A practical look at what we check when a Newcastle business wants clear notes on what is working and what to fix.
Kyle Extrem
A teardown is for when you do not need a full project yet. You need honest notes.
Send the URL. We look at the site the way a local customer would, then the way search and conversion would. You get clear feedback on what is working and what to fix — not a 40-page deck.
What we usually look at
- First viewport: does the brand and offer land in five seconds?
- Mobile: can someone book, call, or enquire without fighting the layout?
- Local SEO basics: titles, maps presence, service pages that match how people search
- Trust: reviews, proof, real photography vs stock wallpaper
- Speed and clarity: friction that kills enquiries before they start
- Next step: is there one obvious action, or six competing ones?
What you get back
Plain-language notes. Priorities. What is worth fixing now versus later. If Studio is the right next step, we will say so. If a Digest placement or Testimo install would help more first, we will say that too.
Request a site teardown and include your URL in the message.
